Ingredients
For the Wings:
2 lbs (900 g) chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Prep the Wings:
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Pat the wings dry with paper towels (this helps them get extra crispy).
In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
2. Bake the Wings:
Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Arrange wings on the rack in a single layer.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
While the wings bake, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, parsley, and red pepper flakes if using.
4. Toss and Serve:
Place baked wings in a large bowl.
Pour garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Serve immediately with extra Parmesan and parsley on top.
