🛒 Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

Prep the pan
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) round pan or line with parchment.
Cream butter & sugars
Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
Add eggs & vanilla
Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
Dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Chocolate chips in
Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
Bake
Press dough evenly into the pan.
Bake 22–28 minutes until edges are golden and center is slightly soft (don’t overbake!).
Cool
Let cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
