🛒 Ingredients
1 egg
A pinch of salt
¼ cup milk
2 cups cornstarch or tapioca flour
1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, or a mix)
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp baking powder
👩🍳 Instructions
Mix wet ingredients
In a bowl, whisk the egg, salt, milk, and melted butter.
Add dry ingredients
Add cornstarch (or tapioca flour) and baking powder. Mix until smooth.
Add cheese
Stir in the grated cheese. The dough should be thick but soft and slightly sticky.
If too dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk.
Shape the bread
Lightly grease your hands and shape small balls or flatten into mini discs.
Cook on stovetop
Heat a non-stick pan on low heat and lightly grease it.
Place the dough pieces in the pan and cover with a lid.
Flip & finish
Cook for 8–10 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
✅ Tips
Keep heat low so the inside cooks without burning
Tapioca flour gives a more stretchy, chewy texture
Add garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor
