1 lb cooked ground beef, chicken, or turkey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika or taco seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
½ cup cooked rice (optional)
¼ cup diced onions (optional)
¼ cup diced bell peppers (optional)
8 small tortillas (flour works best)
2 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking)

Season the meat:
In a pan, warm the cooked meat and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (or taco seasoning), salt, and pepper.
Add extras (optional):
Mix in rice, onions, or peppers if using. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
Assemble the pockets:
Place a tortilla flat. Add a spoonful of meat mixture to one side, sprinkle generously with cheese.
Fold:
Fold the tortilla over to form a half-moon pocket. Press gently.
Cook:
Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook pockets 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.
Serve hot:
Enjoy as-is or with ketchup, salsa, or yogurt sauce.
