Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup honey
¼ cup chicken broth
2 tsp garlic powder (or 3 cloves minced garlic)
8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 can (5 oz) chow mein noodles, for topping
Instructions:
Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, chicken broth, and garlic powder.
Add Chicken: Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours, until the chicken is tender.
Shred Chicken: Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, then return it to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
Add Pasta: Stir in the cooked egg noodles until coated with the honey garlic sauce.
Serve: Top with crunchy chow mein noodles just before serving for texture.
