You Will Need:
12 oz linguine (or spaghetti)
1 lb sirloin steak (or ribeye, sliced thinly)
2 tbsp butter (plus 1 extra tbsp for sauce)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional for richness)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup beef broth (or pasta water)
Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Grated Parmesan (optional, for topping)
🔪 Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente.
3. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Steak
1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the steak and sear for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or until it reaches your preferred doneness.
4. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
1. In the same skillet (don’t clean it — the brown bits add flavor), melt 1 tbsp butter.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth (or pasta water).
4. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Combine Everything
1. Toss the cooked linguine into the pan with the garlic butter sauce.
2. Add the sliced steak back on top and toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
3. Season with extra salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
5. Serve
1. Plate the noodles, top with steak slices, and drizzle some extra sauce over the top.
2. Garnish with parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan if you like.
