Cajun Blackened Fish Dinner Blackened Fish

 

Ingredients

2 large white fish fillets (catfish, tilapia, or red snapper)

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

Blackened Seasoning

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp cayenne pepper

½ tsp dried thyme

½ tsp dried oregano

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp salt

½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

Pat fish dry and rub both sides with oil or butter.

Mix seasoning and coat fish generously.

Heat skillet on medium-high with a little oil.

Cook fish 3–4 minutes per side until blackened and flaky.

Remove and rest.

🍤 Shrimp & Sausage Dirty Rice

Ingredients

1½ cups cooked rice

½ lb shrimp, peeled & seasoned

½ cup smoked sausage, sliced

½ small onion, chopped

¼ cup bell peppers (red & green)

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp Cajun seasoning

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper

Green onions for garnish

Instructions

Heat oil in pan, sauté sausage until browned.

Add onions & peppers, cook until soft.

Add shrimp, cook just until pink.

Stir in rice + seasonings.

Fry until lightly crispy and well mixed.

🥔 Hasselback Sweet Potato

Ingredients

2 medium sweet potatoes

2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper

Parsley (optional)

Instructions

Slice potato thinly without cutting all the way through.

Brush with butter/oil and season.

Bake at 400°F / 200°C for 40–45 min until tender & crispy.

🥬 Sautéed Green Beans

Ingredients

2 cups fresh green beans

1 tbsp butter or olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper

Instructions

Heat oil in skillet.

Add beans and sauté 6–8 minutes until blistered.

Season and toss.
