Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4–6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional, for tang)
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Brussels Sprouts:
In a large bowl, toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Add Bacon:
Spread Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle chopped bacon evenly over them.
Roast:
Roast in the oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until Brussels sprouts are golden brown and bacon is crisp.
Glaze:
Remove from oven, drizzle honey and balsamic vinegar over the hot Brussels sprouts, and toss to coat.
Serve:
Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm as a side dish.
